Vogue presents a spectacular and authentic performance of Madonna's greatest hits, spanning nearly twenty years. From the early eighties punk-inspired 'Into The Groove' and the far from innocent 'Like A Virgin', to the haunting beauty of the recent ethnic - style ballad 'Frozen', Vogue encaptures the brilliant production, funky arrangements and energetic dance routines of Madonna's own live tours.
The show features two talented musicians, (both of whom are also singers in their own right), on drums and guitar and two experienced dancers, not to mention of course Vogue's own Material Girl, who not only sounds uncannily like Madonna but also bears an incredible physical resemblance.
To create an effect as real as possible the show was choreographed by one of America's top performers, herself a protégé of Madonna's own choreographer. In addition to the many songs from the albums, arrangements were expertly written of some of the live versions used in Madonna's tours, designed with a funkier groove for Vogue's audiences to dance to.
Vogue can certainly be called well-dressed, having recruited a leading couture designer to produce the elements of Madonna's style; the denim adorned with crucifixes of the eighties era, the sari-style gowns of the nineties and of course fabulous recreations of Madonna's basques and pointed bras (originally designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier).
The authenticity of the music is one of Vogue's highest priorities, paying attention to rich, full harmonies and accurate musical interpretation. This is enhanced by their sound quality, as they come equipped with an exceptional sound system.
